So what is land pollution?
Why is Land Pollution so bad?

Land pollution is a serious problem that impacts humans, animals, and the earth. It is the destruction and contamination of the land through the direct and indirect actions of humans. The affects of pollution isn't done overnight. It comes from a long-term destruction from human activities. We may not even be able to see the affects through clarity, but know it is. By not having green cover, the soil is at greater risk of soil erosion and washing out fields.
There are alot of things that can cause land pollution and that is deforestation and soil erosion, agricultural activities, mining activities, overcrowded landfills, industrialization, construction activities, nuclear waste and sewage treatment. All of these are terrible for the environment.
Some solutions for land pollution is by making people aware of recycling, reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers in agricultural areas. These solutions are very important, especially recycling to me. You should also try to buy biodegradable products.
What I feel about this article is, they give us a lot of information about what we could do in order to fix land pollution and how it affects our human health. Land Pollution is just getting worse and worse each day. It opened my eyes on how what could be done and the causes of it. Some of the causes, I have never even thought of before. What we need is more green lands.

  1. I agree on the recycling part in this blog. I think it would be a great idea if we started using more biodegradable items, then regular plastic and other items. We need to start making a change for our environment. -Alexandria Castro

  2. I also agree on your idea of recycling more because it does ultimately help. It really is a huge problem I think because it just doesn’t effect our everyday life's but also the animals. People are constantly destroying their homes and habitats just to have land for homes or buildings.
