The article I’d like to talk about has been written by Dave Merril and Lauren Leatherby in July 2018.
They refer to data published by the US department of Agriculture’s Economic Research Service.
I want to show this picture of the division of the Land among six categories:
Pasture, Forest, Cropland, Special Use, Miscellaneous and Urban
As we can clearly see, most of the USA’s land is used for Range (48%).
Is this a good proportion?

The use of the land can seem good, but in a few year
the urbanization will take over agriculture.
data show that the urbanization in growing "at an average rate of about 1 million additional acres a year"

As we can see, USA’s land is used for specific purposes, for example golf courses and airports .
The main occupant of the land is Cows. The 41% is used for landstock.
There are also a lot of areas used parks where commercial activities are not allowed.
