When president was assigned to office he made a commitment to repeal President Barack Obama “Waters Of The United States” In January 2020 president Trump has decided to take away environmental protections. Environmental protections are rules that had protected the wetlands, streams, and groundwater. President Trump felt the regulations of the law were ridiculous so he produced a new one to replace the other and called it the “Navigable Waters Protection Rule” which will help him during his impeachment trial because it will help him get rule landowners to vote for him. Rule landowners would vote for him because the old rule had hindered many farmers, fossil fuel producers and real estate developers.Ever since President Trumps new role have been put into action farmers has been against E.P.A ( Environmental Protection Agency). On the other hand it could harm his impeachment trail because it will turn the environmentalists away since the new rules will make room for water pollution.
